 HOLY HIT-COUNTER BATMAN!!
Dragonfly™ I don't know if anyone else has noticed this lately but occasionally, I get this massive amount of traffic to the website. My statistics to the website have been steadily climbing since the new year. I'm trying to brag but it has gone through the roof. In the month of March, I had over 100K hits. To put that in perspective, I had only 114k hits from May to December of last year. That means that I've almost had more hits in one month than I had in 8 months last year. I had almost 20K hits in one day. This is nothing compared to the larger websites like Google or Yahoo! but it's a major increase for this site.

I don't know if it's that I'm gaining in popularity or there are web attacks. I'm more inclined to believe the later. Either way, I don't mind growing my statistics but not at the expense of site security. I may have to view the logs to take a deeper look. In the meantime, checkout the stats to see for yourself.
